Woo hoo, what a session.:D[/quote]
What form is that?
Australia finally prosper in the 4th test of the series against an England team ravaged by injury and shorn of their two best and only world class players KP & Fred.

Stop sulking Evo.
Good teams always have quality to cvall upon in times of crisis (Stuart Clark for instance).
Surely EW have a spare South African to call upon?
Run rate of 8.20 per over for Aus at present. I’m telling you, this is a one dayer.
Evo Morales:
Watson going well again at the top of the order. From an Australian perspective, a key turning point was dropping the out of his depth Hughes. Much better balance to the team now. Keen students of the game, had figured out Hughes a long time back, even if the yobo types who fall for that 20/20 style of batting thought he was the real deal.
England just have to dig in now and slow down that run rate. Its a 5 day game, it can rain alot in Leeds and they have come back from an even more impossible position at Headingly before to win an Ashes test.
Er, Evo, you were in the wrong thread there, schoolgirl error.
Keen students of the game will also know that Hughes doesn’t play 20/20. Keen students of the game will also know he scored over 400 runs against SA. Though I’m sure in the years to come when Hughes has scored thousands of test runs for Aus, some keen students will refer to him as a “flat track bully”.

Stu Clark bowled some spell this morning, delighted for Siddy too. I was hoping he’d be dropped, boy did he prove me wrong.
Punter answering the cat calls as only he knows how, boundary after boundary. Does it get any better?

Great for Clark alright Special. He’s always been a very economical b owler, even when he didn’t take wickets, but he was devatating today. As for Siddle, I too have had my doubts, but a more likeable bloke you couldn’t have in the team. I listened to his parents being interviewed when he debuted in India, they went over to it, first time out of Australia. Just nice, everyday people, immensely proud of their boy. Bit like Hughes.
The Chairman of Fitzy Junior’s cricket club was telling me last year about Hughes, how he watched him as a 15 year old and knew he was something special.
Fitzy Junior is 6 years old and starts back his cricket in October. Can’t wait for that, every Staurday morning I’d go along and help out the coaches. I’m considering making my own debut in the seniors (as in 50 years olds even though I’m 37) team next year.
There’s a very good journo over here called Steve Kinnane who’s just written a book called “First Tests” about various Aussie test players (male and female) and the backyard cricket games they had as youngsters. It sounds great, especially as I play so much backyard cricket with the little fella who is shaping up as a very good batsman.
