Too severe for just moss alone. It’ll kill the smidgeon of grass he has left.

Yes

Railings have to be vertical too

Em, what length is your swimming pool mate?

Lovely thread title.

Agreed. The moss in the midlands is a killer with the boggy ground. You’d lose the will to live trying to get rid of it.

Are potatoes good to plant now or what?

Not until Paddy’s day!

It is 8m X 4m.

@habanerocat its a legal requirement to have a pool fence. It has to be certified by a council inspector before you can use the pool and you have to have a sign with CPR instructions up as well. The fence is inspected every year as well.

We have a glass fence looking from the deck onto the pool and then the metal fence around the other 3 sides.

Concrete. Paint it green if you’re fussy.

‘Salting the Earth’ was a traditional way of getting rid of the auld Moss, Mike. Fire out a few bags on it.

The golden Vale has no moss, full healthy green lawns, wild life is getting ready for the season.

Speed the potatoes there. Golden wonder and pink fir apples.

What should I be planting now so it’s ready for the summer harvest

Do all townies think harvest happens in summer?

You will reap what you sow.

Put down a few beetroot, Swiss chard, gherkins, strawberries and coriander.

You’d want your head examined to go near Bloom in bad weather.
