Nothing more relaxing on a Saturday morning than time with nature.
Is that indoors? There’s a nasty enough frost on the way.
No frost to speak of where I live. Kale and mustard and most greens do OK in sub zero temperatures.
In the off chance any green fingered folk here can help I’m trying to identify and locate this shrub, unreal fragrance,at this stage the house ownee6thinks I’m a stalker, can’t help but stop and sniff the flowers
It’s a shrub
It’s a Daphne shrub of some sort I’d say. You can stay smelling the flowers but don’t be tempted to taste the berries.
Thanks, got it whittled down to Daphne aswell ( downloaded a plane identify app on play store)Daphne something 1, appreciate it
Mezereum L
Plantnet is the app I got the information from, hadn’t the balls to knock at the door and ask( not a mind take a cutting)
Be careful if googling Daphne Cutting.
I’d say they are tricky enough from a cutting. Have a look here.

Thanks boy
Hard to actually locate, tried online,so going to bite the bullet and ask can I take a cutting, there is another of the same variety on another regular walk off mine,so feck it going for it,local garden centre hasn’t got and scarce enough online centres aswell
I often find that if you know somebody who knows them, is a good approach that always works.
Like, “Jim across the road said you wouldn’t mind giving me a few cuttings”.
Sounds like the travellers spin’ just done Mrs Murphy’s down the road, she’s delighted"naw not neighbours ,and don’t know anyone within a mile, tnx for advice, might scalp a bit
I was in a gardening shop today and bought feeds for a bonsai tree. One is for the leaves and one for the roots, one is blue and one is green. In all seriousness, I can’t remember which is for which, anyone?
Snort a line of each and you’ll know
Blue has sulfate so for the leaves to keep off mildew.
A fucking bonsai tree
Thanks. You spray it on so?
