Are they strawberry plants?
Will they be ok in the big freeze we are about to get?

Don’t want to be too critical as I’d love to have a setup like that. He’s a bit early for the strawberries alright. Might need to mulch them. I’d of planted them in a square plot away from the hedge. It’ll be a source of snails. We’ll see how it goes…

Always found anything near a hedge hard to keep. Hard to cut the hedge also.

They yielded a big crop there last year anyway and sowed at the same time. Time will tell 8 guess

Tell us this…‘I’ cleared a dozen sitka trees a few weeks ago. The branches were fed through a chipper, heaps of the stuff. Is it ok to use after a couple of months?

Why did you have to buy more?

I’d say so but don’t know much about Sitka. I’d say it’d smell nice anyway. Well for a while. I wouldn’t put it down too thick.

Bought 15 and had 20 new cuts from last years strawberrys

Ah getting there slowly… Its pissing me off tbh… Back icing again there last week after stopping for 3.swelling still the biggest issue… Time and it will get there

Would there be any point in taking cuttings this time of year…thorn, cotoneaster, pyracantha?
