If ya have a bit of a mix they will be fine

You’re messing with those. Go straight for the Carolina Reaper and the Trinidad Scorpion.

Ordered seed potatoes there from Mr Middleton and 4 dwarf fruit trees for the patio.

I was only thinking of ordering the patio fruit trees. Have you any prior experience of them?

Yes I have a patio damson, which fruits every year but will improve significantly over the decades and I have a couple of dwarf apple trees that give a lovely fruit.

What sort of size are they ? I’m looking for something that will be a decent size to provide a bit of screening / definition around the border of the patio area

The patio damson wouldn’t be more than 5 feet in height.

I’m about to replace the two fig trees I have in pots. Bought them off a local gardener who sells home propogated plants a few years ago (an oul Greek lad) thinking they’d be great but they’ve been shite. Not on rootstock so I’m getting some proper ones now.
I can’t grow apples here, too hot.
I cut my mandarins back hard last year, they needed it badly. They’ve grown back beautifully but no fruit this year, next year we’ll have shiteloads of them
Happy to report that we’ll have tonnes of lemons this year after a serious prune last year.
The olives are brining away, but I’ll only get a jar out of them. Still, it’ll be a jar of my own hone grown olives.

A great day for the garden, the back of our house faces south and is a proper sun-trap.
I have freshened up the veg & herd containers. Rocket coming up. Lettuce coming up. Chives growing back. Coriander & Basil seeding on the windowsills. Spinach seeds put down in the bed.

A great day to be alive (apart from the covid of course).

That’s a lovely thing to do, I’d say he’s out a right few quid. Buy him a bottle of green spot from me, I’ll square you up when I see you

That’s turning into a lovely wall.

I’ve about 50m of wall done so far during the various lockdowns, I’m sure a proper stone worker would have some sort of seizure if they saw it but I’m delighted with it and find it very therapeutic.

I’m going to plant a few low/medium sized trees along that to give a bit of screening from the passage the other side of it.

Where would a young fella like yourself find enough stone for 50m of wall?
