The All England Lawn Tennis Championship 2011

Muller had actually knocked out Nadal in Wimbledon before in 2005 and Del Potro in the U.S. in 2009.

Nadal disposed of both Del Potro and Muller with sets to spare. He is the world no.1, he is the greatest.

Tots, I think Manuel meant to say they had never been beaten by Nadal in a Grand Slam event until this week.

Totti, I would say JWT knows more about the capabilities and qualities of Fed/Nadal/Djoko etc than you do and he said he beat the best player in the world today.

Let it go

Manuel seems to have difficulty expressing himself.

The best player in the world does not go 6 grand slams without a victory.

So you’re saying you know more about the men’s game than Tsonga ??

Sorry, correction that is what I meant to say. Muller beat Nadal on the grass in 2005 and Del Potro beat him at Flushing Meadows in 2009.

If we’re getting hung up on previous head to head records in Grand Slams, Murray’s against Nadal is quite good. He beat him in Australia in 2010 and at Flushing Meadows in 2008. I’m predicting a Murray v Djokovic final for Sunday.

I’m saying Tsonga is clearly a moron for coming out with that type of comment.

Federer by virtue of his 16 Grand Slams has to be ranked the greatest player of all time.

Nadal is the World Number 1, (though currently that’s a rank he holds courtesy of points accumulated).

On form Djokovic is the best player in the World. He’s won one of the two Grand Slams played for this year and has beaten the World ranked Number 1 player Nadal in four finals in 2011 - twice on the hard courts at Indian Wells and Miami and on the clay in Madrid and Rome.

Mardy Fish takes 3rd set vs Nadal. Nadal leads 2-1

Fish takes 3rd set 7-5. Another 2 set down victory on the cards here, I reckon! Fish in 5.

stick to the tardball you moron

the greatest player ever will win

Game, set and match Rafa.

Nadal wins in 4

Well how the fuck else do you become world number one other than by accumulating points?

Gutted that Fed lost today and that I missed what seems to have been a bit of a classic of a match. Good to see Tsonga back in the big time though, he’s a player I like. He has also beaten Nadal in a Grand Slam for what it’s worth.

Points accumulated and stockpiled from previous years. Djokovic without question the best player in the world in 2011.

As I predicted on earlier page Federer would shit his pants and lose before Rafa humiliated him yet again.

The mental hold the Mallorcan holds over Federer is there for all to see.

First women’s semi final has just kicked off and there is a break point to Azerenka already.

No one cares Taz. Everyone is off watching Indigo Walker in her red bikini and Charlie Buckton in her white lingerie on Home and Away.

Audacious to call Australian serial drama watchers gay and to choose two brutes bludgeoning a ball as they grunt and scream instead.

But the williams sisters got knocked out during the week so no brutes left.
