Best of luck to Donegal this afternoon
I am fully behind the greatest GAA team of all time today.
Weâre not playing until tomorrow week mate but thanks anyway.
Seanie Johnson started the game as a corner forward for Coill Dubh but was subbed inside the first minute according to Des Cahill there
35 seconds apparently. FFS sake. 'Mon the Royal.
I donât recall Spillane calling for Jack OâConnor to dismantle the Kerry team after Down made shit of them in 2010. I donât recall him saying it was a bad sign when Michael McCarthy or Eoin Brosnan came out of inter-county retirement.
Tyrone to win 1-10 to 0-10
Tyrone will not be beaten.
Maurice Fitzgerald like from Joe McMahon with that first free
Fuckin hell this is draining to look at. Must be a bastard to be playing in it.
Tyrone have done well overall but Mulligan and OâNeill look lost. Mulligan especially is taking too much out of the ball any time he gets it. Itâs really up to the likes of Joe McMahon, Gormley, McMenamin and the other experienced players to lead the way in terms of keeping the head. Donegal donât seem to be working as hard for their scores when they have got them but overall the Tyrone defence is working well in denying them space. Tyrone also beginning to get a small bit of space in that 40-45 zone where they need to kick their scores from. But itâll be much more difficult to do that playing into the wind in the second half.
Interesting role being played by Penrose also. Sweeping up in his own half and then joining attacks as a support runner.
Tyrone have a big problem now. Donegalâs physical conditioning is frightening. Theyâve been brushing tackles aside all day.
Tyrone are beaten here Im afraid. Hard to see them score again actually.
Does added time bear any relationship whatsoever with the time lost due to actual game stoppages?
The boys getting slightly carried away with a handy enough save
The referee could have have added on about seven minutes there.
Heâs a fair bear of a lad that keeper
Does Pat call Kerry âa team on the way downâ every time they lose a match? Do Kerry have four All-Ireland Minor titles in the past 11 years?
Well done Jim McGuinness and Donegal. A great group of lads
