Anyone listened to the new My Bloody Valentine album yet (feels weird just typing that)? Sounds superb thus far. A continuation of Loveless, for the most part, and that suits me just fine.
Not yet - must get around to it.
For me, one of the greatest albums ever made. I know Lazarus on here is a fan.

Forget about your Ladbradford, mate, and get around to it. It’s sublime. Not a great departure to Loveless but a very worthy follow-up, with some mind-expanding melodies, vocals, sonics and general awesomeness.
Had a listen to Sometimes earlier. Incredible.
Sometimes is one of the best things ever recorded by anyone.
New album is better than I dared ever dream.

The Fiery Furnaces.
Two members, brother and sister pairing of Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger. Matthew probably best known for having a pop at Radiohead for some unknown reason.
Here they are with The Garfield El with their grandmother (who sounds like a man) who talks about her life, which makes absolutely no sense,to the background of pianos.
Something compelling about it - think it’s the tune.
(This finishes after 4:20)
That’s alternative alright farmer.
Loscil - Rorshach
Real minimalist sound. Ben Shermin/The Minister proclaimed his fondness for Loscil on here before after hearing them on the Donal Dineen show.
Phil Manley - FT2 Theme
Manley is an ex member of Trans Am and is clearly influenced by early 70s German electronica such as Neu! or Kraftwerk
