Listened to Tony Conrad and Faust - Outside the Dream Syndicate a lot recently, mostly because I got a fantastic new folk drone album Quattro by a french band called Tanz Mein Herz recently which reminds me a lot of it. I’ll actually probably move on to Tangerine Dream next.

I bought an album called the Days of Wine and Roses from a band by that name years back thinking I had a rare copy of an album from thd drone crowd of the 60s.
Turns out it was the Paisley Underground band from the early 80s and is one of my favourite ever albums.
