Probably too busy deleting calls from regulator, politicians and central bank to bother with the banterous ones
If these are the ones they deemed ok to leave, imagine the ones they deleted.

In terms of a report from us, what kind of scope are we talking about here? What’s your budget? Once I know that I’ll be happy to put something together. Please also list which persons you would like us to include in our report.

Anglo were. Bowe worked in the Treasury function and all calls in and out of a treasury function are recorded in case a dispute arises over a trade that was done over the phone. I highly doubt we’ll get any tapes of Drummer talking to politicians.
Joe Duffy is covering it on Liveline, it will be all sorted out now. Would love it if one of these guys rang in and sang that German national anthem down the phone.

Thanks Brian,
I would suggest a budget of approx €5k for an initial feasibility study. If we think that there is enough ammunition to proceed with an official complaint to the ICAI we propose to assemble a team of competent professionals to present the case. The team will consist of
- artfoley (legal expert)
- The Runt (IT & telecommunications guru)
- mickee321 (public relations)
- Rocko (German liaison officer)
- tiger (eye candy)
along with you and your team.
We can discuss further fees at a later date if you can put forward a case strong enough to take these bastards down.
Regards,
Fran

Sorry Fran, wouldn’t even come close to covering my costs, never mind the other big guns you’ve requested for that kind of fee.
This scandal can’t be good for IBRC’s astro side. Hopefully we can capitalize on this turmoil in the title run in.

Jaysus, The Runt must come cheap.

No problem Brian, unfortunately the purse strings are tight and €5k is the maximum spend currently sanctioned. I didn’t really want to go down this road but maybe I can convince one of our less decorated accountants like Appendage to take up the reins on this one.
I’m sure Appendage and Scrunchie could cobble something together for 5k alright.

If you actually read his proposal you would see the 5K doesn’t cover the expert team, the 5k relates to the initial feasibility study. The expert team would be assembled off the back of this study, with what I’m sure would be a greatly increased budget.
This is why The Runt will be selected for the team.
If briantinnion can’t even read the brief then I can hardly expect him to lead a team of professionals to bring these guys to justice. He gave me an easy out there

What’s the ICAI?
You tell me
I’m asking you. You’re going to lodge a complaint to them I thought you might know what they are.
I don’t know what it is.

It’s the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Apologies, I thought you would have known that

No such organisation.
You’re thinking of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Rubbish banter

That’s one, formerly known as the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
yes, the only modern pillar of power and influence still standing in the state is the gaa thank god.
This may suggest you are not particularly bright rather than any lack of an issue. Something to think about if that doesn`t hurt your brain too much.
