3 i think? 2 at the scrum which i thought were harsh but refs are never accurate in that area and he didnt show a good picture. There is certain things the ref will blow if the scrum is moving either way, one is the tighthead fropping the arm which as their arm is over the looseheads arm can cause the balance to be lost or in porters case his hips came out and there was a gap between him and the hooker which would cause the tighthead to come in at an angle.

Now both can also be because of the opposite player looking to play the ref. Its incredibly hard for refs but going on above its consistent what they look for. Coaches drill this in to keep discipline based on how its reffed rather than beating the opposition

Does the Irish rubby media and fans talking rot matter in reality though? It doesn’t seem to have affected the governing body, they still have their systems & plans in place, hired a good (?) coach. It hardly impacted on the tournament outcome, did it? You can’t help lads online declaring us world beaters.

It’s similar in a way in Irish football where we also have a load of absolute simpletons covering the Irish team & a crowd of easily led quarter wits demanding that Spock tries to get Molumby, Browne & Hendrick playing expansive football because Ken Early & Gavin Cooney said we should.

But the difference is they seem to have influenced the governing body. It’s the sole mistake John Delaney made during his stellar tenure, this decision to annoint Spock as successor to Big Mick. Covid messed up the succession but this Jonathan “Benny” Hill bluffer keeping Spock in situ & being deferential to Daniel McDonnell & those “opinion forming” lads has been ridiculous. Spock was more than fortunate to get this qualification campaign & he’s been a dead man walking since Athens last summer. Pointless that he’s being kept on before the belated & inevitable parting in November.

Some good points there

I’d say Julia never created an account on TFK to get access to the Zebo/Murray sex tape
