Irish rubby is in a very strong position long term compared to most other nations. Only downside is rugby is also on the brink of implosion. The irfu have done a brilliant job adapting to the professional game. Add in the quality of players coming through the only areas where we need to bring players through are outhalf, hopefully Crowley will be ROG/Sexton level and a prop to replace Furlong (porter can play both sides), depends how many miles furlong has left

Furlong a pale shadow of his former self. There isn’t 50 minutes in him anymore.

He’s been some servant to Ireland but used and abused too often.

Pity Ireland don’t tell the lions to fuck off.

You dont need a prop to play more than 50 tbf, another loose or tight at world class level would cover ireland off. Its amazing that porter is able for so much game time. Im surprised furlong is only 31

I don’t watch a lot of rugby but watched the full 80 last night.

Andrew porter - what is the story there? How many penalties did he concede? His only trick appeared to be lying on top of rucks and reaching out for a dance with the opposition scrum half.
