The Anti Rugby Football Thread Pt 2

:grinning::grinning:

When they didn’t get past a quarter final with O’Driscoll you’d wonder will it ever happen. You have Paul O’Connell being lauded as one of the greats. He was probably grand without the ball but throw it to him and it regularly resulted in a knock on. You would think the ability to throw and catch a ball would be a prerequisite to getting on a ball playing international team but it doesn’t seem to apply to Ireland, and they wonder why we never get past a quarter.

They’ll probably win all round them in the six nations and the backslapping will start again.

Cian Healy went to school in the northside inner city The other ten provincially across the island of Ireland.

So why did they shit the bed?

Having “good hands” is a fundamental
Paulie was busy putting the fear of god into the opposition to focus on cure skills

alright lads, it’s done. they shit the course like we all knew they would… gloating about it now is in very bad taste.

To be fair throwing and catching the ball seems to be beyond most fellas in Rugby, it’s why the fellas 1-8 aren’t allowed pass it too far or receive a long pass. They can’t be trusted
One fella being able to throw, catch and kick the ball is so rare that only a few lads on each team can manage it.

Due to head trauma their long term memory isn’t great so we’re just providing gentle reminders.

Ah leave off. It’ll be another 4 years before they bottle a quarter final.

Why did Ireland lose? They met New Zealand, the best side in the world, the back to back reigning World Cup winners and the most successful country in World Cup history.

When do the Brave and Faithful get back on the road for the Heino cup?

I asked you why they shat themselves this tournament ---- not just against NZ. No one is questioning losing to NZ, but the manner with which they shat themselves … they were visibly shaking before the anthems.

Belvedere College is a typical North Inner City school alright

Belvedere College has a great sporting tradition. As well as Cian Healy in recent times, Dublin All Ireland winning footballers Ger Brennan, Eoin Murchan and Jack McCaffrey are former alumni.

Why did they meet New Zealand?

Because they shit their togs against Japan.

If they didn’t meet New Zealand, it would have been South Africa in the quarter final - the second best side in the world, twice former World Cup winners and the second most successful country in World Cup history.

they’d have been as well off not going at all.

Is Belvedere College fee paying? Would there be many students from the surrounding areas?

I was told most are from the Clontarf/Howth direction

Cian went to Belvedere, Kearney went to Clongowes, O’Mahony went to one of the rugby “colleges” in Cork. The three Ulster chaps went to those oddball colleges in the North. Stander went to school in the bush. Four of them went to non fee paying schools in the 26 counties.

Belvedere is fee paying. They have a social inclusion program for inner city kids. Ger Brennan was on the social inclusion program. Cian Healy wasn’t.
