Rugby selling off in Galway

A rugby app partly-owned by Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll has been forced to delete a social media post about Ireland’s newly-qualified centre Bundee Aki.

O’Driscoll owns 45% of ‘Ultimate Rugby’, an app that provides fans with news, fixtures and information on international rugby teams with the remainder owned by technology entrepreneur, Ray Nolan.

In the post, they asked: ‘On a scale of CJ Stander to Guinness, how Irish is Bundee Aki’

The questions was posed over an image of the New Zealand-born Connacht star with the message: ‘Tag a mate who also thinks they’re Irish’.

The post has since been deleted but not before it was heavily criticised online.

Aki recently qualified for Ireland under World Rugby’s three-year residency rule and is likely to make his debut in this month’s clashes with South Africa, Fiji and Argentina.

how long is Harry Artur living in Ireland?

Not the GOAT

Donie Ryan doesnt count.

Not the GOAT - and that’s a ridiculous comparison

Big Joe is indeed the greatest.

He’d have an outside chance of making an all time 15,
good comparison though.

I suppose you could say Eamonn Cregan was an honourary Offaly man

More of a case for him to be the GOAT

My grandfather always said Cregan at CB in 73 was the greatest individual display off all time from a Limerick hurler. My auld lad reckoned Hartigan was the GOAT.

Hartigan would tell you himself he wasn’t fit to wash Joes arsetowel.
