The Barclays Premier League™ 2014/2015

Aguero makes it 2-2

Jesus, some through ball to Aguero for the equaliser

Outstanding by Aguero again. Dunne didn’t cover himself in glory there.

QPR are some craic to watch, great entertainment at both ends guaranteed

Dunne at fault there. Best match of the season I think from what I have seen in the Epl so far.

Rob Greene will find a way to lose this for QPR yet…

Bandage will you explain why the goal wasn’t given please. They tried to explain it in Sky but Jamie Redknapp was staring into space and they gave up.

The relevant law apparently states that, for a freekick from inside the box, the ball has to leave the box before it can be played. As Joe Hart’s first touch of the ball only marginally moved the ball forward, and it was still inside the box, it couldn’t validly have been played by anyone. The fact he stuck it again as part of a kind of double hit was irrelevant. Hence the retake.

Aguero is brilliant. Enjoyable game, city just don’t have the hunger like Mourinho’s Chelsea. The league will be over by February, if not before.

Thanks Bandage. That was a very succinct and informative post.

What was the score? Have Keith Barry and @artfoley been mugged off?

That was the disallowed goal he was referring to not the one that stood.

No, he separately said both goals were offside - Austin’s and Aguero’s.

I don’t believe he did and would like to see the analysis again.

He definitely did. You’re character assassinating a good man.

I believe he called it onside and he’s an absolute idiot.

He blatantly didn’t. He straight out said it was offside but went on to praise the touch and finish.

@Captainshan, please rewind your Sky Plus or whatever to confirm this.

It disappoints me to say Chelsea will win it this season

I recall he said it was offside but in awe of the finish.

Kenny Cunningham slaughtering Steven Gerrard’s first half display today on Premier League Central on Setanta Sports now. Tony Pulis offering somewhat of a defence.
