The Barclays Premier League™ 2014/2015

Whatever City are paying Mike Dean it has been worth it so far today.

Charlie Austin finally scores a goal that is allowed.

Very unusual incident at QPR-Manchester City there. Austin had a headed goal ruled out for offside so Hart was taking the freekick around 8 yards out. As he went to strike the ball, his standing foot inadvertently made contact with it first with the result that he only scuttered it along the ground. Austin controlled it and rifled it back past him from around 20 yards outs. But the referee disallowed it because Hart struck the ball twice from the freekick and he was allowed to retake it. Hart has since made a one on one save from Austin and Austin has now scored. Tidy finish. Manchester City look very ragged.

What a goal by Aguero.

The handball was out of this world.

Different class. Different class.

Austin v Hart… some tussle

Have they changed the offside rule again? I understood that if any part of the body an attacker can legitimately score a goal with is ahead of the last man then it’s offside, if that’s the case then Austin’s goal shouldn’t have been allowed. Any verification on this?

No change to the rule. He should have been penalised for offside.

Jesus, this could be 4-4 by now.

That gowl Redknapp was saying it was onside and had an imaginary line drawn to validate it at half time. He is a simpleton.

He said it was “definitely offside” but praised the touch and finish. I’m certain of that.

Dzeko comes on, and has to be subbed out 2 minutes later.

DeMichelis OG

QPR worth the lead.

Almost disaster at other end … Dunney saves the day

Richard Dunne best defender in Epl.

Richard Dunne clears off the line after Aguero rounded Green. Those type of situations usually end up with poor Dunne diverting the ball into his own goal.

Zamora giving DiMichelis a rough time of it

Isla and Vargas have been excellent down the right hand side for QPR. Charlie Austin should be playing upfront for England.
