The Barclays Premier League™ 2014/2015

City are a mess at the back, bud but United are starting to look like a proper team now.

There’s been worse days as city fans.

It needs to be torn up at City. The only problem is that Pep doesn’t arrive for another year so the next 12 months could be interesting #rafa

With an above average manager.
That’s the difference.

LVG is a genius. He has mugged off Pelligrini and Rodgers this season and shown them up for the chancers they both are.[/QUOTE]

There was a time when success and managerial genius at Old Trafford was measured by serious trophies won.

Now in yet another trophyless season, the benchmark would seem to be an even share of the spoils in league fixtures against their local rivals - a side managed by a sixty something year old who only last season picked up his first meaningful silverware as a manager in Europe after more than a decade of trying.

Rodgers has never won anything in the game, unless you’re counting that Cup that was handed out when Swansea beat Reading in a play off final at the Empire Stadium in 2011.

May there be many more

Whether there is good, or whether there is bad, it will be written that it was won in Fergie time and when Liverpool came looking they were despatched also. I’d have taken that.

Some reception for Fellaini, fans eh?!

No comparison to the way he played last season, guilty by his association with Moyes.

And earlier in this season? No need to be so defensive, fans are idiots for the most part.

Not being defensive at all, no excuse for booing your own.

What way is the table - If utd beat chelsea are they back in the title race?

Chelsea would have to lose 3 of their remaining 7 games for Utd to overtake them (and Utd would have to win all their 6 games left).

Best fans in the world (as long as they’re winning)!

Chelsea 8 ahead with game in hand. 7 ahead arsenal

City may go into freefall now and not finish in top 4. Manager is gone now or end of season. Players will follow.

Fellaini’s association with Moyes has moulded him into the world class player that he is. It was Moyes who signed Fellaini from unfashionable Standard Liege back in 2008 and over 5 year’s at Goodison Park turned him into one of the top player’s in the EPL.

Zouma playing midfield with Matic but is man marking Felliani and not giving him an inch. But it means that both Herrera and Rooney have loads of room to play in and neither Fabregas or Drogba have little interest in closing them down. Smalling has carried the ball out of defence and into the Chelsea half a few times unopposed too.

Game is here for United to win

United have been able to get the ball up to the edge of the Chelsea box with minimal ease but are really lacking any kind of incisive or killer ball once there. Chelsea defending deep with ease.

Herrera has been very good so far, a very neat and tidy player. Hazard has barely figured so far
