No I said he was very good in a couple of games in the lead up to the last international break. Last season he showed flashes of brilliance but lacked consistency. He’s been better again this season and will go on to be a top player.

Harmless lads like @anon25556527 lap up the bullshit from Carragher and Neville. EPL is the best league in the world. Joe Hart is world class. Nathaniel Clyne is the best attacking full back in the world. John Stones is the best young defender in Europe and that’s before you even get to midfield players.
I think Carragher is a clown and I couldn’t careless whether the premier league is the best in the world. At the moment Bayern, Barca and Real are streets ahead of the English teams. I don’t see much of the german league but I don’t think it is better than the EPL depth wise. The top 3 in the spanish league are very good and sides like bilbao, sevilla etc are stronger than most people think but I reckon the bottom 5 or 6 teams are very weak. The Italian league has a few fairly even sides that are decent in ac, inter, juve, napoli and roma but it is hard to tell how good they are given there nearly all rebuilding since last season.
