Because he is not up to it, he’s windy and its skinnier the man is getting, not bulker, he only needs to put on a small bit. He is too slow as well, or else he isn’t giving 100%. He is simply a poor mans Colm O’ Neill, Donnacha O’ Connor or Daniel Goulding. Fiacra Lynch is better than him as well. Masters will destroy Waterford or Leitrim or someone like that, but against the big boys, forget it.
Lads he strolled out to every ball, he wasn’t putting in the effort, simple as, Tom Sullivan destroyed him. Now Cussen didn’t work, but this wasn’t down to Cussens effort, but the fact he wasn’t getting good ball.
Your talking bollocks Kev. Fiachra Lynch isn’t near the senior squad, while Goulding has done fuck all for Cork since he made the team, unlike Masters.
Fiacra Lynch will be training with the seniors after saturday, take my word for it.
Masters doesn’t have it against the big boys on the real big stage. Masters needs someone else to create the kicking space for him, the others all have the power or speed or both to create their own.
Goulding is twice the size and a similar kicker. To say he’s done nothing is ludicrious. I do believe there is alot more in him though.
We’ve announced the same 15 that started on Sunday for Saturday.
Lot of lies here…
O’Sullivan ruled out for Kerry
Munster SFC team-news: Kerry have made three changes in personnel for Saturday’s Munster football championship replay against Cork at Pirc U Chaoimh, with Bryan Sheehan coming in for captain Darren O’Sullivan who has been ruled out.
Killian Young comes into the defence – at left wing back – as an indirect replacement for Michel Quirke who drops to the bench.
Darragh S starts in a newlook midfield where he will be partnered by Tommy Griffin who moves from centre back. Quirke and Tadhg Kennelly started at centrefield last Sunday.
Kennelly has been relocated to the forwards with Donncha Walsh losing his place.
Tommy Walsh, who had to leave the field in Sunday’s drawn game with an ankle injury, is named at full forward after a quick recovery.
Cork, meanwhile, have named the same team, though injuries may force last-minute changes. Redmond Barry makes a welcome return to the Wexford football
team for Saturday’s Leinster quarter-final against Kildare in Carlow. Barry was married earlier this year and then took off on a three-month voyage around the world, and his return offsets the loss of former All Star forward Matty Forde who has a back injury.
Aindreas Doyle is the sole championship debutant, named at left wing back, while Ciarn Lyng joins Shane Cullen and PJ Banville in the full-forward line.
KERRY(SF v Cork): D Murphy; M S, T O’Sullivan, P Reidy; T S, A O’Mahony, K Young; D S, T Griffin; P Galvin, Declan O’Sullivan, T Kennelly; C Cooper, T Walsh, B Sheehan.
CORK (SF v Kerry): A Quirke; K O’Connor, M Shields, A Lynch; J Miskella, G Canty, G Spillane; A O’Connor, N Murphy; P Kelly, P O’Neill, P Kerrigan; D Goulding, J Masters, D O’Connor.

Not a hope Cork will start with that team. I’d like to see Cussen in the corner, may be easier to hit him that way, we don’t seem to know how to get him at 14. I feel Donnacha is far better there as well. Conor Counihan is a very astute guy, it would be suicide to play Spillane on Galvin again. I’d say they just aren’t sure who they have and told Frank to give them the same team as the last day. Seen it happen all the time in my own club. Or what we tend to do is give the last team from a league game.
Walsh won’t play i have it from the Kingdom. Many games being played ahead of this one.
As I said, lot of lies.
Get off that high horse, you’d swear it was new.
You’d swear what was new? What high horse? I said it was lies, then you came in and waffle on saying the exact same thing!
Bless you kev, let it go like a good fella.
You can write off Derry’s chances from here.
DERRY midfielder James Conway has been suspended from the county senior football panel while an investigation is held into the incident in a club game last weekend which left inter-county attacker James Kielt with a broken jaw.
Kielt was playing for his club Kilrea against Conway’s Ballinderry last Sunday in a Derry Division 1 Football League game in Slaughtneil, when an off-the-ball clash occurred.
As the referee did not see the incident Ballinderry were ordered by the Derry County Board to identify which of their players was involved and as a result Conway is no longer involved with the county squad.
The incident has cast a shadow over Derry’s preparations for Sunday week’s Ulster semi-final against Tyrone in Casement Park. Kielt is definitely absent for that game and the Queen’s University student is also doubtful for Derry’s following game, either the Ulster final on July 19th or an All-Ireland qualifier eight days earlier.
Meanwhile in better news for the Derry squad, Fergal Doherty and Brian Mullan have both had their eight-week suspensions halved after appeals to disciplinary chiefs.
The Derry pair were punished after incidents during the controversial Ulster SFC victory over Monaghan on May 24th.
Both players will still miss the Tyrone clash but will now be available for the Ulster final or the start of the qualifiers.
Doherty was sent off for two yellow cards in the Celtic Park game but one of the cautions was later upgraded to a straight red following the use of video evidence, while Mullan was banned for kneeing Monaghan’s Conor McManus in the groin area.
Monaghan attacker Thomas Freeman failed in his appeal against an eight-week suspension imposed for striking a Derry opponent in that game, but is reported to be considering making a further appeal to the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA).
Freeman’s suspension would rule him out of three rounds of the All-Ireland qualifiers.
Shocking what went on there alright.
I’m sure Turenne condones it though.

You off that hrose yet?
I don’t do have much dealings with the horsey set.
fcukin Derry and Tyrone must be the worst in ireland for intercounty lads battering eachother in club games…
Meath aren’t bad either. Laois would be well known for it too in the past.
All put in the hapenny place though with the two you mentioned, I’ll give you that.

in all fariness Laois don’t distinguish between intercounty and club players…they all just batter eachother indescriminantly…
True for ya, and supporters alike if needs be.
Makes a man of ya, once its one on one, and not battering some young intercounty hurler on the street like the Cork fellas.
