I’d expect Dublin to beat Westmeath very, very comfortably.
Mikey Conway’s just gone off - now there’s a top class player. Kevin? It’s over now actually. Anthony Rainbow came on for his token few minutes at the end. A great player in his day but I find it a bit cringe when his every touch warrants a cheer. They’re almost congratulating im for still being capable of remaining upright. 2-18 is a huge score to rack up by Kildare but Laois literally gave up. The internet feed’s still on and you can hear RTE employees having a chat - I’m waiting for a Ron Atkinson type outburst from someone.
The internet feed was left on after the Bulgaria game a few weeks ago, Dunphy and Giles were all f this and f that
All we got today was some clown talking about going for a leak.
Leinster football’s nearly as weak as Connacht and it’s pretty depressing. Other than Dublin and Kildare, the standard’s been very low this year and those two would probably be considered in the rung below Tyrone, Kerry and possibly Cork too.
Amazing scenes in Clones, I don’t know if yis saw on BBC Ulster, the fans weren’t going anywhere and were making a right din. Probably still at it too. Jarlath Burns was very excited by it all.

would agree with that alright, but is it too controversial to say that all provincial football is “weak” because they’re not pure knockouts anymore?
Kildare were very good but laois were truly awful. I would love to see Kildare beating dublin now, would be good for football. Kildare have class footballers, mikey conway, mick foley and brian flanagan were unreal at the back. Early and flynn are maintaining there good partnership in mid field. Up front ronan sweeney, james kavanagh and alan smith were good.
Had 50 on Smith for first goal. Nice
Bollocks .
Kildare/Laois scoreline?
2-18 to 8 points or something.
Legendary TFK poster MBB will be seething.
Sligo must have the oldest half forward line (or any line) in the country, ages 34, 33 and 30.
Galway looking good here.
I wonder if this is the year Sean Armstrong finally bursts onto the scene.
Sligo’s a joke of a county. Still embarassed about how we lost to them in '07.
That’s harsh.
Oh and Eamonn O Hara is a cunt.
What was the score that day again? One of the worst games of football ever played.
Not really. Have you ever been in Sligo town? Surely one of the most depressing places in the country. An absolute kip and terrible accents too.
Close - unlike the Leinster final last year.
1-10 to 0.12. We were poor that year but there was a lot of trouble behind the scenes.
