The Beatles thread

Heā€™s a nice man yeah.

Revolver gets a new outing, stereo mix based on same technology as used in the documentary, about 35 alternative takes and the Paperback writer/Rain single. An interesting playlist is to dump Yellow Submarine and put the two songs from the single on its place. No question then itā€™s their best album.

Theyā€™ve found a tape of The Beatles playing an hour set at a school 60 years ago. Amazing it still exists. They are going to clean up the sound quality

Whatā€™s this new song all about?
Sounds like a load of AI rubbish.

How much money does Paul McCartney need?

The Beatles Red and Bue albums got rereleased today, masterfully remixed by Giles Martin using the MAL technology developed by Peter Jackson for the documentary Get Back. Originally released in 1973, 12 songs added to the Red album (5 tracks from Revolver alone) and 7 to the Blue album. First impressions are the early Red album songs are glorious compared to the originals but no notable differences to later period songs.

Sam Mendes isnā€™t a great director.

Jaysis the world doesnā€™t need one more Beatles film. Never mind four. Tubs however, will come in his virgin media y fronts.

Unreal :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Money hungry

I was listening to a horse racing politics podcast there and at the end they ended up discussing the Beatles.

These boys rinsed them.

They never played any live Gigs.

The guy who got shot was decent but the rest were shite.

Meant to be the first artist to benefit from technology weā€™d more associate with modern music.

Iā€™d say If Neil Lennon didnā€™t get shot nobody would have remembered them.

Somebody not getting enough attention :rofl::rofl:

They played fuckloads up to 1966 in an era where live sound was shit. They then went off and recorded some more great albums, at least one a year for the rest of their career.

Some good wumming all the same.

With the help of an awful lot of technology it seems.

Did they ever fill out Wembley ?

Iā€™m coming down on frauds.

A studio band at best.
