The biggest mullocker of the last 25 years

Enda Flannery, without any shadow of a doubt.

Honourable mentions: Stephen Banville, Francis Devanney, Mickey Cahill, John Meskell, Stephen Oā€™Donnell.

Correct. Heā€™s a farmer.

Oā€™Connell wasnā€™t really a dirty hurler although I do remember him getting a red towards the tail end of his career for a late stroke alright.

He was similar to Timmy is style, high energy hard running. Some days it works other days it doesnā€™t. He ran Ciara Carey into the ground in 95, Carey had pretty much given up even trying to chase him early into the second half

Tipp Mickey Cahill?

He wouldnā€™t leave it after him is my memory. For every sparrow you need a fingers.

He had some walk. One of the all time great GAA walks

Would Sean OG fall into mullocker territory. An incredible athlete, not a whole pile of hurling but there was no end to him mentally or physically

Glynn despite being not much of a stickman actually has very good vision on the field. That disqualifies him from outright mullocker status IMO.

Are you nuts altogetherā€¦?

The Thurles MC is one of the very best corner backs to catch a hurl in recent times.

You are to taking offence what most young wans are to fake tan, a slather merchant.

great topic @Big_Dan_Campbell

possible future sub topics, best whippets, best/worst axe men, best horses of ladsā€¦

I was just asking the question mate. I donā€™t know of any other Mickey Cahill who hurled inter county so I was actually giving you the benefit of the doubt

At the start yes but his hurling improved hugely from 1995

Heā€™d fall into the horse of a man category more than the mullocker one

A potentially brilliant hurler ruined by injury

There was a lad hurling for Dublin under Ger Cunningham whoā€™s name escapes me. Get played him midfield, he had a decent engine but could not strike the ball when on the move. I used to always find it amusing how he would burn a lad and a feed yards only to inevitably be hooked

Good man yourself, good man.

Although you have just given away a lot there.

My age?

McMorrow?

Which lad? The five lads I mentioned were anything but potentially brilliantā€¦
