I’d love to get time to do this meditation lark properly. There is an app called Calm that I have used a few times and it definitely helps get you in the zone.

the chimp is the biggest enemy to focus…talent also…i think if everything came naturally to you growing up its very hard learn focus and discipline when you get to a certain age…

social media, internet has killed focus - no time to be alone with your thoughts , probably why meditation is good - leads to open awareness

I think he also said ,in theory, the best player is the guy who takes up football late as he reckoned that too many modern day players came up through the ranks playing in systems that totally curbed their individuality and ability to express themselves…they get used to playing the same way and doing the same thing over the years…
