Iāve seen some poor woman turn the wrong way onto princess parkway thinking it was a single lane, and can understand how it happened, but that 
Man lost his nerve Iād say. He would have had to go through two lanes of traffic coming in over the bridge, then another two lanes of traffic leaving.
Did he lose consciousness, if you look the way he turned on to the path, itās pretty random, or else just snapped!

Was leaving from a different location this evening. Traffic looked bad around the office so I said Iād walk to the quays and get a Luas instead.

The Luas doesnāt run along the quays, that might have been your problem?

Also the bypass is 8km long, and bypass or no, trucks do still need to access urban areas.
