In a hundred years people will look back and marvel at how we allowed people to self steer and drive cars at over 100km/h on narrow roads coming in opposite direction to other cars.

I was heading out in the car for a hill run on Saturday morning at about 0730 am. The polis were just reopening a roundabout as a car was being lifted onto a recovery lorry. It was absolutely smashed to bits. As we drove past it became apparent it was an Audi etron, and was the demonstrater car of the Audi garage. Some lad had smashed it to bits on a demo drive

I hope some fella in a Hilux drove out over them.
Looks like they came round the roundabout to go back to the garage and lost control as they accelerated and weren’t expecting it to behave like an electric car (similar 0-60 as a Lamborghini diablo). They didn’t make it all the way round, and exited the roundabout via a fence, a tree, and McDonalds carpark. No sign of injuries but the car was smashed way beyond repair. 
They’re about 70 grand I think.
