This time thankfully I was driving with due care and attention. Sheriff St again travelling east. A builder in a white van in a parking space to my left suddenly decided to execute a three point turn right in front of me. I jammed on the brakes like a tonne of bricks. Extraordinarily this stopped what felt like a certain collision. I got out and saw that there was no damage and there was a jokey exchange where your man said you just missed me and I said no you just missed me. I bid him a safe home but I’m shook now to be honest.

I met a wan in a Kia cross over yoke this morning on my side of a country road. I think she thought she could spirit her way thru me and the truck as she wasn’t inclined to slow down. She mounted the ditch and ploughed on. Mental stuff.
Some guy on this morning with Laura Fox on 2fm about the report tonight on Primetime re the carnage on the roads. The reduction in speed limits was mentioned coming into law. NOT WORTH A WANK! Enforce the existing laws and be done with it.
well it is worth a wank because if a kid gets hit at 30 as opposed to 50 he will survive but overall, yes, more enforcement & stronger penalties

Look lad. I agree with you for urban areas, villages and around schools etc. But enforcement is the only way it works. Penalies are plenty, and current limits outside of urban areas are the same, just enforce them and stop this lip service fucking around.
