John Ryan is dead sound. When he came back to Midleton in 02/03 heād sub for us on the junior team the year we won the MJL, he had great stories about his time as a pro at Brighton.
There was another chap played with us back then, played pro with Wimbledon, once scored against Manu with Smikes in goal, canāt remember his name, played up front.
Trained once or twice with Billy Woods, top top player.

We went quite far in the FAI junior cup and got out of Cork. Played Clonmel Celtic at home. We were fairly tense before the game. I was usually quiet in the dressing room but nice bit of bantz when I produced my KK jersey saying Iād never lost to any Tipp cunts wearing this shirt and didnāt intend starting now!! Got a good laugh, broke the ice. Drew 0-0, lost on spotters.
