Where was he saying this?
Some horsey cunt was moaning on Sean O Rourke this morning about someone taking a hit out on his horses. I presume it was him and he was talking about @fenwaypark
Slight injury, nothing to be too worried about
You do realise the horse is trained by Nicky Henderson yeah?
Can anyone enlighten me as to why I shouldn’t have a decent cut at Vantour in the opener.
Thanks in advance.

As no such horse holds an entry in the opener
Thanks for your prompt reply. Let me try Vautour if I may.
If you have anything informative to add I’ll give it consideration.
Apologies for taking up your clearly valuable time.

its a fcuking nightmare of a race boxty, its reduced me to tears (Darlan, Cousin Vinny,Dunguib, MTOY, Binocular, Cue Card)
A woeful, woeful record for favs, often the best horse doesn’t win (see above) but comes back in time to prove themselves following year.
Vantour has the form and is an exceptional mover, however his is big and backward (like pont alexander, denman) chaser in the making, something more forward and speedier could easily clip him. Also Ruby has said he found it very difficult to chose between him and Wicklow Brave, I am having a small interest on the latter at a much fairer price

If you’re backing Vautour you should also be backing Western Boy e/w who he just about beat in a tight finish the race before he beat The Tullow Tank.

I’d understand if backing Denman in the Supreme Novices reduced you to tears alright. Imagine how you’d have felt if you backed him in the race he ran in.

Relax old man. I think Vautour is underpriced based on Mullins record in the race. He had the run of the race against The Tullow Tank and wouldn’t get to do that in Cheltenham like Ruby did on Champagne Fever last year. As @Spidey has said, he was barely able to beat Western Boy who is nearly 5 times his price.
Vantour was about 70% when he faced Westerner boy…as i said, he is a huge stuffy horse which would typically take 2-3 races to get right, WB has placed chance at best, he wont reverse with either of the Mullins horses
Wicklow Brave also beat him well in their bumper days

Denman was beaten in what is now known as the Neptune, not the Supreme.
yeah, had that wrong
read the post above. He’s 16 hand 3, you wont have that horse straight until they run 2-3 times, if you want to base your strategy on the fact that Fahy can improve WBoy (ran 4 times when he met vantour) more for Che than Mullins can the afore mentioned then off you go
WPM after he beat Westerner Boy
“he idled going to the last and fiddled it but when Paul asked him he felt he had plenty in the tank. He pulled hard which used up petrol but as he goes up in grade, they’ll go faster which will help. He’ll come on from that and I loved the way he fought back when he looked beaten”
Cue Card was the one I was trying to think off
Pricewise said emphatically Our Conor had no chance last night . He said if he couldn’t beat The Fly last time that he’ll never do it. He went for The Fly, Fenway will be delighted to hear however that Barney made OC his bet e/w of the meeting.
Other main points from PW
*Rock on Ruby had no chance in the Arkle, was quite keen on Trifolium.
Shuttefrontdoor is his bet of the meeting. Dunguib , Cheltenian, Fingal Bay were his other principal bets.
Patrick Mullins also had some interesting comments, will put them up in a bit
