How do I find out if Boyles are paying for 4th?
I’d say they are Fran. Pp and hills both did.
Fookin hell, what a day
Mac the real tipping king
Yes. Well done Mac. Kid - that’s how it’s done. You don’t tip one horse and then come back on and say you tipped the winner when the horse you tipped loses.
Right, stuck on a bus for the next half hour so a few meandering thoughts for tomorrow. Never had a day like today in Cheltenham so all these will probably bomb out.
1.30 - Happy to take on Dynaste. Aupcharlies form is franked all over the place but would be happier backing Texas Jack. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Tony Martin pricking everything up though. Texas Jack the most likely one I’ll back. If Argocat had a proper trainer he’d be a steal at current prices.
2.05 - Have Hada Men in an ew Lucky 15 from Tuesday. Will likely back him again. Jetson also a super price. Been lined up for this race all year apparently.
2.40 - The combination of being good enough for the Gold Cup and how well Mouse gets horses ready for Cheltenham makes First Lieutenant unbelievably appealing. Regretting not backing him before he was pulled out of Gold Cup. Having Jason Maguire up on Champion Court is also a positive as Squeaky Cawley was never good enough. If he goes off out the front he could well lead them a merry dance. Would be interesting if I could get a price on CC to be 2nd.
3.20 - Already on Bog Warrior ante post. Probably not soft enough for him. Smad Place the one I’ll probably back as well.
4.00 - Need to pull this apart this evening. Fingeronthepulse comes alive in Cheltenham and could be place value. Casey Top had a great spin around in a much better race in November. Ferdy Murphy rarely has a horse as well placed in a race like this as Divers. More study needed.
4.40 - Chartreux - very well handicapped. Super jockey booking. End of.
5.15 - Leac and Scail.
Anyone know the last time before Ruby rode a horse in Cheltenham with an SP of 25/1?
She is that. I was in the ring for the queen mother presentation. Princess Ann is a right moany old wan.
Meanwhile Andrea Wylie was looking very well and my missus reckoned she had a lovely hat.
Wrong thread.
wasn’t American trilogy a few years back a huge price? Not that big though
Only catching up properly now, I see pricewise also put up the Elliott horse and first time in blinkers , I might have to pay a visit to the seething thread
Maybe 12s or 14s. He runs tomorrow too.
he was 20/1 that day mac, anybody know where i can see re-runs online? atr dont have them? not on utube yet
1.30 - have backed Tofino Bay ew but Back in Focus almost impossible to look past
2.05 - have backed Rule the World. If money comes for Mullins I may back The New One if he hits 6s.
2.40 - backed Lyreen Legend
3.20 - no bet, just watch. Take Corals offer if you want a free 20 quid
4.00 - Fiveforthree.
4.40 - Flaxen Flare
5.20 - The Liquidator
That is some shooting Mac. Had it away with BIF and RTW EW. Had 543 EW as well ran a cracker. Hope you made a fortune
On the way home fromCheltenham now. Very enjoyable day for a first time visitor. Great atmosphere and all sorts there. The restrictions on where you can bring a drink are a little annoying but overall it’s a suberb setup.
Good days racing for me too. Had 2 winners including The New One and Flaxen Flare (off a pricewise tip at 33/1 EW). Couple of places too including Lyreen Legend. I was on Boston Bob in that race as well and really had my hopes up as they both approached the last in 1/2. Overall very happy.
Eh you had 33s winner no wonder your happy pal! Plenty fellas here a lifetime never found one
I am on First Lieutenant and Aupcharlie AP and will stick with them
I think Oscar Whiskey will reverse with Reve Di Sivola on these gnd conditions. And is definitely the best horse on known form here. I think he’s proven he stays and last years world hurdle run was an off day, But the soundings wrt Wonderful Charm are ominous. I am going to stick with Oscar, i think people are trying to find something else but he’s the class animal might even drift to 5s
in the byrne, i can see mac claims for Divers, i back him there 2 years ago when he won the novice chase over 2 miles 4. Last year he was 3rd in this and i also backed him, he didnt stay. Its over 2m 5f and that extra furlong seemed a step too far, but he’s back now at 17lbs less, and this will help, he’s solid ew material but i would be surprised if something doesnt pass him. I thought Cantlow was very unlucky in the pertempts last year (3m) and seems laid out for this. With AP on board at 8/1 is my ew selection and he will stay
I have also backed close home AP in the pertemps, he looked like the type for me since winning at course and distance there late last year, i think pipe has left junior in the race to keep him nicely weighted, wouldnt be surprised to see a gamble on this, he ran on well in last years neptune to finish 4th (simonsig) and step up in distance will be no problem to him
Kim Muir in notriously difficult to predict, but Galaxy ROck who is a 3 time course and distance winner for jonjo looks over priced to me @14s
Frisco Depot is the other you have to look at here. High class bumper horse, high class novice chaser and then the waley cohens bought him. obviously on easy list since xmass and provided he jumps a clear round will be bang there 16/1 and as this is an amateur race the SWC is not an issue. def over priced
First Lieutenant, Smad place,Sam Winner, Cue Card and Jetson
Also like Bertie’s dream, Tartak and Casey top e/w
what the fcuk was townsend at with his hands into the last, desperate ride, would be very very disappointed had i backed him
Dynaste has never won a race in his career past December
