That’s Ireland for you HBV.

We love gombeenism. In my own County the apes continue to vote for Mattie McGrath & Michael Lowry election after election.
thats not going to last to much longer im not a rossie but i admire ming

Its been somewhat overshadowed by the G8 summit but should be quite an occasion in Brewster Park tomorrow.

THE PSNI HAVE confirmed a petrol bomb attack occurred near the Quinn Group’s former property on the Ballyconnell Road in Derrylin last night.

Detectives in Fermanagh have appealed for information about the incident, which occurred just before 9.15pm. They believe a car with a number of males on board stopped outside the premises and threw two petrol bombs, causing scorch damage to BT cabinets on the road.

There were minor disruptions to phone services in the area as a result.

Aventas, which took over the operation in Derrylin on the collapse of the Quinn Group, said it will be business as usual today, confirming there was no harm caused to its buildings.

Last year, the firm said there was a “continuing campaign of sabotage, intimidation and vilification against this company and certain of its employees”.

The Cavan boys WALKED the President elect across the border day. WITH a piper.

“Nash” motion dropped. Ulster get their President.

Frank

no worse than the shite-hawkery that went on not too far from yourself.

And that makes it ok and no less deserving of derision?

The citizens of Fermanagh in particular those in croke park right now seem like a right pack of simpletons.

Go away out of that you miserable bastard. The county with the smallest pick and resources in the country causing problems for the country with the biggest pick and huge resources. Great day out.

It was just a pity that Peter Darragh Quinn was unable to attend (unless heavily disguised).

Says it all about this years Championship when a team "putting it up " to their opponents (managing to be beat by less than double digits) is being feted like classic game would be.

My second favourite DJ, John Kelly, started his show on Lyric today by apologising for losing his voice. The Fermanagh native put it down to roaring Go on ya boy ya Quigley, all day yesterday.
