Ah yes, I can see Tinnion settling right into the Dav alright…
Heads up for you Tinnion, if anybody asks you where you are staying just say “across from Spaights” for instant Limerick street cred.
Ah Dunph, I used to have respect for your attitude to food but this could cause me to seriously reconsider
Tried Bella Italia last night, decent grub again. Was there early enough for the early bird menu which was fantastic value.
Went for a pizza with a number of meat toppings and a glass of red wine, couldn’t really do the dog on it as I wanted to hit the gym.
They also had a fantastic blonde waitress who would be quite at home on the homegrown talent thread, if anyone knows her they can tell her she’d have a chance with the Tin Man.
Well done to all in Limerick again.
He advocated Eddie Rockets on another thread
I believe the real dunph may have died some months back and this is purely an imposter.
The final night of my Limerick odyssey (for this week anyway) saw me eat in Hamptons and I’m declaring it “briantinnion’s Eat of the Week”.
Went for a fillet steak, asked for medium with the only condition be that there be no blood, was slightly over cooked but wonderful nonetheless.
Well done Limerick again, this week has been a real eye opener*
*One negative has been that it has proved hard to get good coffee, I’m working in the Shannon Free Zone and I’m limited to what is on offer at the client’s premises.
Gobshite.
Mint Cafe just a tiny bit up from your hotel would have fullfilled your coffee requirements. It also should have been pointed out to you earlier in the week that you were merely 100m from the most noble of Limerick eateries, The Lobster Pot. I apologise for this oversight.
You’re in bad form this morning Farmer, do you have a pain in your belly?
I did but I relieved it earlier.
I suppose I just don’t really like you much Tinnion.
But sure you don’t like yourself either so it doesn’t matter.
The Lobster Pot was a noble eatery. It’s called American Pizza or something now and is pure shite unless your plastered.
I miss the lobster pot, great spot for late night chips with choice of dressing.
But … Friar Tucks anyone? I can still see the picture of Kinski and the snake on the wall.
Curry chips with grated cheese was my most frequent choice of dressing in the lobster pot.
They still do the burgers n chips and all that and have the Lobstor Pot menu board inside I think but it I was shocked and appalled the day I saw American Pizza over the door. Chip and mushy peas after an almighty session in The Market nighclub, those were the days!!
I spent 10 mins outside Nearys last night chatting to Brendan O’Connor. He actually came across as an alright sort
You were lickin his hole.
The name that’s not allowed to be mentioned on this forum anymore was at a party I was at last week.
He’s an absolute dickhead.
I once used KIB Man’s Dunnes stores story that he put up in the interview thread in an actual interview and it went down well
Coming from the fella who was downing pints with Caul Pollins last night?
X nay on the ollins cay
