I ate in the Gas Works there last week and found it very tasty and reasonable…On O’Connell street, across from Chocolate/Goerge Boutique hotel…Bella Italia on Thomas Street is a serious place if you like Italian food
Right, you will have to sample a Limerick chipper at some stage. I suggest Donkey Fords, get in a taxi and any taxi man will take you there. Where are you staying?
As for fancier joints, Luigi Malones isn’t a bad spot, Chocolat good too…

Luigi Malone’s is overrated as fuck…stay away tinnion…Texas Steak Out is nice if you don’t want to be going anywhere too fancy[/quote]
Female colleague here also Farmer unfortunately. Have to go for dinner with her.
I’ll have plenty of solitude shortly though so I’m ok with it for the moment.
Staying in a fine establishment on Henry Street across from Dunnes. All suggestions should be within 5 minute walk from here.
I’ve made a call on tonight anyway but I won’t reveal until I’m home in case someone decides to stalk me and stab me.
Another thing to note, I said Limerick was ok, stumbled into Drumgeely whilst looking for the client’s offices - wtf is all I can say. Went into the shop to get a bottle of water and they had a hot counter piled high with food, does the entire village survive on deli food or something? Shannon is an awfully depressing place.
Freddy’s is some spot, probably my favourite in limerick but I’d only venture there once in a blue moon as not to get sick of it. The Savoy is close to everything, your probably better off eating in the already touted Hamptons. I havnt been there but heard good reports.
