That could also be seen as a distraction yes.

The Trump/McGregor/Liverpool era is over. We all have to move on.

McGregor gets knocked out by a lad who’s never set foot in a boxing ring. Hopefully that’s the end of the Pacquiao talk

Conor and Pac are both part time fighter celebrities. It’s hardly like challenging Canelo or Golovkin. That’s where he is now. Conor v Jake Paul v Pacman in a steel cage match.

Great stuff. Hopefully next time he’s getting his head pucked in its in prison.

That’s the end of that so

There having another fight. It’s best of 3. The first leg was 6 years ago :joy:

Probably safer for the citizens of Dublin if he stays in training

The bold part of your post there is the key. On his way up and earlier in his career he had to take big fights. Later in his career he was top dog he had all the power and control. He refused to fight anyone that could threaten him, wouldn’t fight pac til he was past it, purposely fought canelo before he improved enough to challenge him. I’m with Ashman here. Mayweather a great fighter but not in many great fights, and a big asterisk beside his record that he didn’t take on the best out there.

Was Mayweather ever even knocked to the ground in a pro fight?

He hurt is hand one time very early on and took a knee for an 8 count. Iirc.
