Its hardly that earth shattering a thing really for the chairman of the airport to use the lounge area and have it included as an expense.

And is that an actual cost or what someone else might have paid.

It also noted there was sometimes family members with him. and as @Julio_Geordio says, is that just an estimated cost that someone else would have paid comparatively, or is it an actual physical determined cost? Either way, I dont see it as something mental that the chairman of the airport getting is some sort of disgrace. In the same article it mentioned about previously one of the board members being criticised for using the fast track instead of queueing when the queue disaster was happening at the airport.

Doesn’t seem unreasonable at all that he’d have the use of it as a benefit. Presumably he’s paying whatever tax is owed on that benefit.
