Hard to believe it’s been 8 years, didn’t think I was here that long

Starting secondary school tomorrow, a great girl, the speech impediment never fully disappeared and she’s ‘quirky’, so the old worries never go away, she has a couple of pals from primary school with her, fingers crossed

All will be ok,we worry too much, kids are more resilient than we give them credit for, enjoy this special time.
You wouldn’t be a good dad if you didn’t worry.

I have a little one starting next week. She tried on her big brother’s hand me down uniform and the polo shirt ‘was a bit tight Daddy’. Rascal told her it’s cos she’s fat and that’s what you get for eating too many treats. In fairness she paid no heed to him.

Good girl,smart obviously.

Dunnes is the best value of all if you use your vouchers astutely. Way better selection of food to lidl and aldi too

Aldi and Lidl fruit n veg are bad.

The fruit and veg in Dunnes is generally awful too. Super Valu always far superior

If you want fruit and veg go to a fruit and veg shop

The only place I know of that sells fresh fruit and veg within an hours drive would be a farmers market. I know of a place in Foxrock that’s an old school fruit and veg shop. Do they still exist in other parts of the country? I assumed they were all gone

There’s a load of them in Limerick and Cork anyway

You’re buying the wrong stuff… It’s all on the # number on the stickers… But yeah, supermarkets aren’t great. I just find aldi and lidls particularly bad

Is there not a massive fruit and veg place at junction 22 off the M11? I dont want to dox you too much here, but thats surely less than an hour from you…

Greens on the Courtown Road? Or somewhere else?
