The Daddy Thread

Had the primary school graduation for my second girl tonight, lump in the throat all the way, I’m way too soft.

Disco and pizza for the kids afterwards, One of the sixth class teachers told me that a lad in her class asked was shifting allowed at the disco

I’m still not sure what a shift is.
It seems to vary from county to county.
A Cork shift could be a serious shift.

Well? What was the answer? (Asking for a fellow poster)

Anyone happen to know of formula for a four year old that can be bought in Irish supermarkets?

Is that even a thing?

Not v common here at all so prob wouldn’t get in supermarket but I’m sure a pharmacy would order it for you if requested in advance

Formula has a higher calorie count.

Put in a drop of double cream

Sounds less efficient than just getting her formula tbh.

You need to address that “ thing “ mate

Huh???

Honestly never heard of it.

Have you difficulties getting the child to eat?
Perhaps a spoon of complan added to whatever milk you’d use?

She eats fine but her weight growth is trending down for some reason. What is complan?

It’s a powdered meal usually given to the elderly I think, contains all the nutrition you need I believe

Could you make a milkshake with milk bananas strawberry and ice cream and honey or some other sweetener . Drinking two of those a day could add 1000 calories.

If she’s eating and weight trending down worth a visit to a GP to see what they think
