The only place I know of that sells fresh fruit and veg within an hours drive would be a farmers market. I know of a place in Foxrock thatās an old school fruit and veg shop. Do they still exist in other parts of the country? I assumed they were all gone
Thereās a load of them in Limerick and Cork anyway
Nearly every regional town would have one yeah.
support local
Youāre buying the wrong stuffā¦ Itās all on the # number on the stickersā¦ But yeah, supermarkets arenāt great. I just find aldi and lidls particularly bad
Is there not a massive fruit and veg place at junction 22 off the M11? I dont want to dox you too much here, but thats surely less than an hour from youā¦
Greens on the Courtown Road? Or somewhere else?
yeah Greens. Is that not open to the public? I did see something recently that they were winding down though, but is there also not a farmers market in the town there at weekends too? Anyway, supervalu I find too is best for convenient fruit and veg. Strawberries a different story, would always go direct to growers for them
Strawberries, Blueberries and Spuds is the sum total of what you get from them. The Strawberries are exceptional alright and worth the journey for. The other stuff is no different to what you get in Pettits
Farmers Market is what I mentioned earlier alright, for a few hours on a Saturday morning. Am not aware of anywhere in Enniscorthy or Arklow that would sell just Fruit and Veg. Is there somewhere in Wexford town?
Country Fresh have three shops in Dundalk. Fine spot.
Agreed
There is a fruit & veg shop up the hilll from the Cathedral in Enniscorthy
Where The Gem used to be?
Dont know its on the same side as the Church
The hopper just got 613 points in the leaving.
At least his mother was riding a clever lad.
Seriously, some effort in one year in a new school in a new country, and he sleeping on a mattress.on the floor at his grandparents house, for whom.he had to call an ambulance twice whilst he was there, with no tutors except some significant help from @fenwaypark
Masterful stuff. Congratulations Hopper
Phenomenal. Great stuff!
Aboy the kid. I hope he gets scuttered drunk tonight and pukes all over your new hallway to celebrate.
Whatās he planning to study at third level?
Whatever he wants
Dunno. He was thinking engineering. He put down engineering management at trinity as number 1, but we never thought heād a hope of it. I was looking forward to him being in Galway if he got that (I thought he would).
Heās in with a shot of trinity though so heāll take that if he gets it for sure.
