Shampoo is entirely unnecessary. Hot water suffice to keep hair clean.

Nearly a week on and we have a little fella hopefully coming around after a few days of vomitting and a cold, we have a Mammy bolloxed with a stomach bug as of today and a Daddy with a sore throat and baulking at the idea of being solely responsible for holding it all up for the next few days.

The youngest has a seriously thick head of head of hair which made brushing it after the bath a N’awful job with tangles and what not.

I bought what I thought was a cheap/bog standard bottle of shampoo on holidays last month. Turns out long hair ends up like silk after it. Not a tangle to be seen after it. Think we have the honey one but they all work

I’d condition my hair regularly. It’s the price of a luxurious head of hair and one I’m happy paying particularly as I age and lads around me start to increasingly lose their hair.

As the two of us sat in his box room easing him back to sleep I remarked to my wife how different our lives were now, 8pm on a Saturday evening the two of us in silence with our little lad in a tiny room coaxing him to sleep. And it felt pretty damn good!
