The Dating Thread - Part II

I’m in awful situation with an exmtrely nice girl. She’s everything you’d want in a girlfriend. Similar interests etc extremely good looking etc but I’ve travel plans and really don’t want to spend my mid 20s tied down. I’m away a lot and most of my friends are single too. It’s getting to the point where I kind of have to ask her out. I can tell she’s waiting. I’m worried if I don’t tie her down somebody else will very fast.

Ask her out? FFS tip away. Although buy a few valentines, birthday, Christmas Day presents in advance in case @anon32894817 Max Bet comes a cropper.

What you go on to explain is not an awful situation pal. I was expecting a junior @anon32894817 after a one night stand

She likes horses and plays sport. I knew she was a keeper when she hadnt heard of Ryan’s.

It’s completely pointless lads offering advice without seeing a picture of her. I’ll take a PM.

You are only asking her out mate, you aren’t asking her to marry you. Give it a spin for a few months and see how it goes. She can always go traveling with you if it works out.

It’s quite frightening that young lads come on here for serious advice in matters of the heart,
Then to be met with their grannies cliches

Ask her what her plans/hopes/dreams are?

If not similar.

Leave her off.

Once you mention the words tied down then you are wasting yours and her time.

Quite mature of you to even be that way considered at all though.

:joy:

If she’s into horses unfortunately she is going to cheat on you.

Don’t worry her parents aren’t.
