The Diaspora

Aghhhh!

And Kevin thinks it wrong for men to shave their chest?

the head of that cunt.

 Ah ffs.

Iā€™d love to punch the mischievous head off him.

Totti, are you implying that you would prefer him with a shaved chest? This boy in the photo?

Iā€™m saying his chest looks ridiculous.

Where do the diaspora watch live GAA games? I know in Australia they can get RTE but say for some of you based in the UK where RTE isnā€™t an option, how do you lads go about watching games? Presume go to an Irish pub or somethingā€¦

Overplay.net is what i used to use when i was away dunph it was $9.99 a month great job for watchin rte,i used to just hook the laptop to the tv

Most Irish pubs/clubs would have an Irish box so it isnā€™t a bother finding somewhere to watch the match.

Not too sure if Premier Sport are still up and running, they charge a monthly fee.

Iā€™m talking about for free of course

a tenner a month wont kill ye dunph ye tight cunt

In Australia we canā€™t get RTE Dunph, we xan access it online of course, but on TV its Setanta which is $16 per month if you already have Foxtel (aussie equivalent of Sky). Most pubs with any Irish / English clientele will have it. But I prefer the comfort of my own home.

I only wish i was that handsome

We got in the Premier Sports channel. Only ten quid, itā€™s separate from the Sky package too. Can be cancelled after 3 months so when the championship is over weā€™ll get it out. Good ice hockey games on too though.
Before that I used the links that Chewy provided and just hooked the tv up to the laptop with the HD lead.

That article doesnā€™t seem very representative of the Irish community i have met in WA, but Melbourne does have a slightly different crowd to it than WA, so maybe thats it.

What links do you have Chewy Louie?

The ones that show you how to pick up RTE online abroad. You have them.

I use Overplay.net and watch on rte.ie.

Went to an Irish bar (McCormackā€™s on 3rd Ave. between 26th and 27th) last year to watch one of the Wexford games, found it through Google. No mention of a cover charge on the website and no mention of a cover charge when I went in to the bar. Anyway, I order a diet coke and the barman says to me thatā€™ll be $22.50 in a most ignorant manner, being $20 to sit and watch the match and $2.50 for the coke. The ignorance of the barman and the lack of transparency on the cover charge left a real sour taste in my mouth, immigrants gouging immigrants, at least if there had been a mention of the cover charge on their website I could have factored that into my decision before I made my way across town.

Same crowd tried to charge in for an Irish soccer game that was on Fox Soccer Channel (free on most cable packages) too. Needless to say I have not been back and I never will be back.

Irish people :guns:

Just a post to try and get this thread onto a new page so I donā€™t have to look at that stupid cunts face everytime I open it.

That is a disgrace, Brian.
