He’s perfectly entitled to line out, he’s not guilty of anything yet
It’s on so early nobody will notice unfortunately.
It could already be over tbh.
A few extra might go in just to see the awkwardness of it all.
Have Henry and Cody settled their differences?
He’d be roundly booed. He surely won’t turn up
Id imagine one of the young lads will represent him
He pled guilty !
Apart from that

What’s going to happen in a fortnight?
They can’t just ignore him for the Jubilee team. He was the best player on that team by a mile.
Its going to be a very awkward one.
I’d imagine they will just ignore him.
There was a somewhat similar scenario with the 1972 Kilkenny jubilee team in 1997 and the person’s existence was simply airbrushed out.
It’ll be more difficult again in 2028 however when people wonder who the captain of that year’s jubilee team was.
Who was that?

Who was that?
It was a well known Irish sportsperson who had the same surname as the actor who played a well known satirical 1990s TV character associated with Norwich. It was a very tragic case for the victims and especially one of the victims’ fathers who collapsed and died in the court as his daughter gave evidence.

Who was that?
Martin Coogan. Child molester.
Apro po of nothing: The singer and songwriter of the band The Mock Turtles, known for the song Can You Dig It? was named Martin Coogan.

I was chatting with a business contact recently, and he mentioned that his father was involved with the Kilkenny County Board back in the ’90s, when DJ was a senior player. He said that, considering everything that’s come out about DJ lately, an old mystery is starting to raise eyebrows again.
Apparently, there were a few incidents ,four or five times…where money went missing from Kilkenny players’ wallets in their gear bags at away games. Eventually someone from the County Board was assigned to collect & mind all wallets.
At the time, nothing was ever proven, but now DJ’s name is being spoken about in connection with those incidents.
Bloody hell. That’s pretty low if he was robbing from his teammates.
That phone charger picture is just so pathetic, he must be mortified that it got out.

DJ should have his debts repaid to society by that stage, if not his creditors
Never knew of that story.
Did he ever reintegrate into society after?

I don’t know for sure but the case split Castlecomer down the middle.
I was actually having a discussion about that runout for the 1972 jubilee team with a Kilkenny man during the week. If memory serves me correct, the individual in question had been convicted a year or so previously and was off on his long holiday at the expense of the State and taxpayer when the 1997 final rolled around.
There was high drama in court as the jury verdict was read out in court. One of the complainants father dropped dead from a heart attack.
I wouldnt say it would split it down the middle now
