The end of Oasis?

Noel Gallagher has come out and said he wants to take 5 years away from the band and play with another group, Liam is probably driving him nuts…is this the end of one of the greatest bands of all time?

But it got me thinking, if you could assemble your ultimate band from either the living or dead who would you have in it??

I’d go with Johnny Marr, Joe Strummer, David Gilmore and Dave Grhol.

Hopefully not. Despite the shambles that surrounded Slane, Oasis proved they are still one of the few bands in the world capable of playing a venue that size. Amazing act.

Sad news if so. They’ve been probably the best band on the planet over the past fifteen years.

We can only hope!

Anyone hear any of the Noel and Gem acoustic stuff? Absolute quality - its on youtube. I’d pay a lot of money to go to one of those gigs anyway.

Create a band with anyone living or dead question:

Leo Moran
Davy Carton
A.N. Other
A.N. Other
A.N. Other

IF this is true it might be the worst thing to happen to music since Mick Jagger died.

Yes, Farmer likes to think he has the final word in all things musical…A music snob if you like… but he is out of his depth. There has been no bigger band in the last 20 years, fact!!
