The Fairy Kingdom of East Galway

You backed the wrong horse here, yet again, by following the village idiot. Im sure its the height of wit in tipp to partially quote something and take that and run with it, but a more nuanced examination of the full quote will reveal all, if you’re able

Birds of a feather flock together. He didn’t choose him, they’re drawn to each other

A very good point

That does happen a fair bit Flatty

Our sporting gift to the world is celebrated in Killimor this weekend. All welcome…

Were you allowed to throw the ball under Killimor rules?

But Peter J Kelly, a tenant farmer from the townland of Killeenadeema, just across the lake from the town of Loughrea in Galway, actually spent more time as a leading official of the GAA than both Davin and Cusack combined.

Good Easht Galway sthock.

He follows in the line of East Galway stock like Simon Geoghegan

Two east Galway men going head to head here.

Horan or Geoghegan?

Geoghegan

I’d know them well, only over the road from me, in Hearnesbrook. Tim Horan’s father was from Tiernascragh.

Some tough men in that part of the world. Crazy with it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’d say you’d know my aul lads family so. They’d have lived near the creamery in Killimor.

There’s a pub in Kilnadeema on the hillside with a serious view over the lake. You’d hardly know there was a pub there it’s up a driveway like every other house kn the road.

Hara’s, O’Toole’s, Geoghegan’s, Grady’s, Ryan’s or Blayney’s.

You left out the Larkins :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

No Larkin’s in Hearnesbrook. Plenty in the parish alright.
