20 young Ulster women aged 18-25 compete to sing Amhrán na bhFiann at the Ulster final.

We follow the 20 girls as they each go through an intensive coaching course consisting of: Attending mass, learning phonetic pronunciation, learning how to add Mariah Carey style pointless vocal flourishes, singing into a metal barrel and singing with tape over their mouth to simulate the sound effect of the PA system at an Ulster GAA venue, learning how to wear a straw hat with a county headband tied arond the base, and learning how to dress in a sexy yet completely wholesome fashion.

The contestants will be judged by a celebrity judging panel of Ulster Council Chairman Seamus McCaughey, Philomena Begley and Nathan Carter.

This competition also serves as an eliminator for the Ulster Rose division of this year’s Rose Of Tralee.
