Iâve no doubt the lady who sang the anthem in Ballybofey is a very fine singer. The tannoy made her sound like she was screaming for help after being attacked down a dark lane by Conor McGregor.
Some auld lad from kildare after absolutely butchering the anthem there.
This Ulster phenomenom of wimmin warbling the anthem is creeping into Munster hurling. Tis not right.

A lovely rendition by a best looking girl at mass type from the Gaultier club at Welsh Park, with several performative mispronunciations.
You should always performatively mispronounce the words of the Irish national anthem.
The sound quality was very disappointing as it was clear stereo sound. If youâre going to do it right, do it right and utterly mangle the sound.
FFS sake.
I think she sang at Drom carnival one year.

For keen national anthem watchers you can be reassured that the highest of standards will be maintained in Ulster. Whatâs the equivalent of ball wall practice when it comes to singing, or should all singing practice be done with constraints to get ready for the pace of championship?

Has it always been that there is no singer for the anthem in Croker? I canât remember. Also, no anthem before the Donegal match.
Thereâs never an anthem before the first game. The anthem can only be played once per day.

Iâm curious about this, is this a thing or just a GAA decision? Iâve been at McDonagh and Tailteann Finals and I couldnât understand why they didnât just play the anthem before either as well as the main event.
No there have been singers on AI Final day in the past. Always better without them though imo.

I donât know exactly. Like it doesnât make sense that the All Ireland semi on the 12th will have the anthem and the Tailteann final before it wonât.
