Guests of honour

The Hoggy terrace will be packed with visiting Dutch fans

Hoggie was a purer striker of a sliothar than Ring, there I’ve said it.

This is nice to see given the tragic circumstances.

By God.

Travis and Maryse Knight (née Fitzpatrick) are supporting the project in commemoration of Maryse’s beloved brother and nephew.

In a plan launched last year, Portlaoise GAA committed to a three-phased approach to the redevelopment of Rathleague, with the long-term vision to deliver a modern facility for its members, supporters and the community. That vision is now expanding.

Portlaoise GAA Club is revising and upgrading this plan to include a large club house and indoor training facility, spectator viewing stand, walking track, and pitch and flood light enhancements.

Travis Knight is the billionaire son of the co-founder of the clothing brand Nike – Phil Knight.

Mr Knight, who hails from Oregon, is an American animator, producer, director, actor, and former rapper.

A unnecessary gesture but a damn lovely recognition of what was a very tough funeral and time

He may say Parnell, but we all know what his soul is screaming.

I was expecting to say what the fuck is he moaning about, but he’s fucking bang on.

Black with white seats would not only have been correct, but would have looked class as well.

TEAL ME BOLLOX

The jig is up for Casement Park. The British Government won’t fund.

No surprise given the cuts going on all over the mainland

Agreed. The Apple money will have to fund it now. Get the bike shed guys in.

A fucking joke of a project from the start. How long has it been shut down for now? 12 years is it?

All it ever needed was a modest renovation. Instead they demanded a spaceship and Belfast’s answer to O’Toole Park has been their county ground since 2013.
