GAA-wise Wicklow would put in a strong challenge, they might fare a bit better in other sports. Kildare definitely a contender for the most “nothing” county overall.

They must be the county in Ireland with the least amount of county identity. Even no mark counties like Langford, Carla, Leitrim etc people have a strong allegiance to place. Strange in a way as it definitely has distinct place in Irish history, especially the Curragh.
