Have a wee look over some of the posts of yours I rated dumb recently, see if you can’t see a pattern.
the gay ones? Ah sure, I’m only pulling the piss. I’m standing up for female athletes today, so that should get me in the red.

Just ask your sister about last night when she said ‘no’.
woh hoo, such japery and cutting wit
A rapier wit.
Not even a citation in his post to acknowledge the original source of “your sister” jibes either. Very important that this is noted.
Could we be about to hear some new tales of @Bandages old mate Barmy
That’s bang out or order, everyone.
Hi @Bartosz Bereszynskiego
How are you feeling today? I hope you are improving.
The lack of respect & decency on show in this thread is alarming.

Suck up.
Thanks, guys. I’ve also been boosted by my neighbours’ kindness.
Margaret called in with an apple tart a few minutes ago while I was watching last night’s MOTD2. I’ll have a slice with my afternoon tea in a while:

Bridie popped in on Saturday with a delicious strawberry cheesecake:

And Angela dropped by on Thursday with a box of donuts, caramel slices and the likes:

I’m also on promises from Eleanor and Mary and I’m expecting chocolate brownies and an autumn crumble.
It’s great that everyone has rallied around for me but I have to be careful not to eat too much. It’d be easy to pile on the pounds when my mobility is adversely affected and when there’s a temptation to sit around watching TV and eating treats.
Lovely gestures all round though.
Lovely catch up session in the pub with @Appendage earlier. I had a coffee and a Sprite and he had a Rock Shandy, Blackcurrant & Water, a Kit Kat & a packet of crisps.
The neighbours continue to deliver treats and cakes though not the chocolate brownies and autumn crumble I expected.
Geraldine (@stevie G 's mother) sent down a dessert the other evening. Raspberry ripple ice-cream with fresh Wexford strawberries & a raspberry muffin. Quite novel to include the muffin rather than save it for the post dinner & dessert cup of tea:

Eleanor called down the following day with an intriguing package:

I was thrilled to find a delicious Black Forest Gateau, Beano Comic and card upon opening it. Splendid stuff.

I was having my morning bowl of porridge yesterday when the postman knocked to hand over a gift package sent by The 51, Dublin. What more could a man need than Ireland’s Own, The Celtic View, Loom Bands, a Kinder Egg, Lindt Chocolate, Freddo Bars and miscellaneous pub literature?

And just before I headed off to the pub earlier, Mary delivered a Chocolate Biscuit cake. It looks delightful but I won’t sample it until tomorrow. Mary tells me she spoke to Eleanor to ensure they didn’t send their cakes to me on the same day. It’s been like a conveyor belt, the sequencing has been superb:

It’s been a truly great response so far.

The writing of ‘Just for You’ on that cake is a bit creepy mind you but what a haul :o
Sick bastards are trying to finish him off here with all this junk food… You must really be despised, Bandage!?
Would the not drop you in the dinner ? Meat and 2 veg etc ? All these sweets can’t be good for you
No jumper cake?
Monday morning on Wexford Marina. It must be 25 Degrees Celsius here. Sublime.

So, do your neighbours consider you to have the mental age of a relatively bright 11 year old then, mate?
Are you laid up Bandage? Those were really splendid cakes you received.
what is the writing around the edge - I can make out “Karl” and “RTE”
They look like the gifts that might be given by a community who have wrapped their arms around a young adult who is “special”.
Quite life affirming.
