The GGA's woeful TV ratings- Why so

So unless we qualify for the finals of a tournament , paddy doesn’t care much for the ROI soccer team .

odd that the World Cup qualifier vs France trumps any GGA game ever then

Was there any soccer qualifiers on that year at all mate? The voice more popukar than any soccer match surelt not?

Btw. The LOI games peak at about 50k of a Friday night. That’s why they started showing women’s rugby it was a much bigger draw

It is mate

I’ll give you what I want to give you.

What happened this day to say the news got such a viewing

Hardly considering it can draw the support from 32 counties as opposed to 2 counties and neutral fans.

Was there a stick hurling game on last weekend? I didn’t see one mentioned in that ratings list you posted.

so the GGA has limited appeal and its mainly has a parochial following as opposed to nationwide appeal

I assume there is a TV channel for Munster only which shows it?

No interest in it north of Tipp

DO you not see it on the list there buddy? You’ve already acknowledged its presence so this is an odd stance from you?

I was explaining why the soccerr has a bit more appeal, not a huge amount more but a bit more.

Googled it there.

To be fair both the GAA and soccer at the weekend had what I would deem to be relatively poor viewing figures . Have we reached peak sports viewing ??

TV in its most traditional form is dying. The snowflake generation don’t care for live TV or Sport with a preference for streaming sites / Netflix / On Demand TV.

You couldn’t make it up.

Where is your evidence for that?

Clink on the link about that I provided with that quote.

The only time the figures are mentioned are for exclusive matches in Oireland and viewing figures for the UK.
