They’re playing the Olympia later this year, aren’t they?
One of my biggest regrets is never having seen the Pixies live.

Didn’t know that. Just had a quick scout and I don’t see any dates on ticketmaster in Ireland but I see they’re playing Glasgow in October so highly likely they’ll play Dublin and London. Excellent.

I was most impressed with Blur last night.They really put their back into it.
Springsteen’s set was ace also.
The prodigy are fuckin finished as a band- utter shite.
As mentioned already(i think) Lady Ga Ga was great, and most salacious.

Never seen them but I imagine they’re loud as fuck? It’d be quality in the Olympia so.
Seen them in the park that day and whether it was
A. They were as loud as fuck
B. Something went wrong with the chilli’s sound system, or
C. I really wasn’t bothered listening to the chilli’s after what the pixies served up
but they completely blew the headliner out of the water. To be honest I’d say the chilli’s were somewhat embarrassed to be supportered by them.

They had to do it to get it on either top of the pops or mtv I think. Couldn’t get it played otherwise.

Theyll be marking the 20th anniversary of Doolittle by playing the album - and assorted b-sides - in full.
I’m assuming the scramble for tickets will be mental
